Who is the trainer?
Dirk Marivoet, MSc.
is a holistic psychotherapist, physiotherapist, psychomotor therapist and international teacher with over 40 years of experience in integrative healing and bodymind approaches.
He is the founder of Core Strokes® and director of the International Institute for Bodymind Integration (IBI) in Ghent, Belgium, as well as the current chair of the Core Science Foundation.
Dirk’s work brings together a unique and evolving synthesis of Fascia-based bodywork and structrual integration, Reichian, Bioenergetic and Core Energetics traditions, Pathwork and spiritual embodiment practices, Somatic trauma resolution and transpersonal inquiry.
Having trained extensively with pioneers such as Jack Painter, John Pierrakos, Al Pesso, and others, Dirk integrates clinical depth with experiential insight. His teaching is known for its clarity, warmth, and precision—creating a space where practitioners and seekers alike can explore the full spectrum of body, energy, and soul.

📚 Program Overview
Core Strokes® is a four-module professional training in bodymind integration, fascia-based bodywork, and energetic transformation. Whether you’re a psychotherapist looking for somatic depth, a coach seeking embodiment tools, or a seeker on your own journey—Core Strokes® offers practical, powerful, and personal transformation.
Each module is a seven-day immersion, combining:
Grounded theoretical teaching

At the center of the training is the Neurofascial Transformation Process™—a dynamic approach to reading, releasing, and re-patterning the emotional and structural imprints held in the fascia and breath.

Earth Element – Foundations of Contact and Safety
Awaken your body’s capacity for grounded presence, relational attunement, and fascial responsiveness. You’ll explore the first four phases of the Energetic Breath Cycle™ and develop your ability to read breath, texture, and early developmental imprints.

- Focus: Safety, belonging, contact, and early breath dynamics

Air Element – Breath Expansion and Somatic Expression
Develop vertical integration and somatic confidence. You’ll deepen breathwave modulation, explore segmental release, and activate the voice as a core channel. This module invites elongation, expression, and subtle energetic pacing.

- Focus: Expression, elongation, segmental flow, and breath wave expansion

🔥 Radiant Core™
Fire Element – Erotic Flow and Heart-Pelvis Integration
Reclaim the vibrant flow between pelvis and heart. You’ll engage the deepest fascial layers, restore relational vitality, and transform polarity blocks through embodied erotic-emotional truth.
