🌕 Experience the Core Strokes™ Spiral
Four Gateways to Embodied Transformation
A Path of Touch, Breath, and Soulful Embodiment
Core Strokes™ is a multidimensional path of healing, embodiment, and inner transformation — developed by Dirk Marivoet, integrative body psychotherapist and founder of the Neurofascial Transformation Process™.
At the heart of this approach lies a living spiral of four gateways:
Rooting Core, Flowing Core, Radiant Core, and Luminous Core — each immersing you in the body’s wisdom through breath cycles, fascia textures, developmental energies, and soulful touch.
Rather than fixed stages, these gateways form a pulsating path. You may begin wherever you feel called. Each module stands on its own, yet together they form a richly layered journey into presence, relational healing, and structural coherence.
Whether you are a somatic therapist, movement guide, healer, or sincere explorer of embodiment, Core Strokes™ offers a grounded yet luminous invitation:
To listen with your breath, to touch with presence, and to meet the soul that lives in the tissues of your body.
🌬️ Core Strokes™ Module 2: Flowing Core
Expanding Breath, Voice, and Somatic Confidence
Flowing Core is the second gateway in the Core Strokes™ Spiral — a spacious immersion into breath wave expansion, relational contact, and the subtle intelligence of the upper body and core.
Whether this is your entry point or a return to the spiral, Flowing Core welcomes you into renewed intimacy with your breath, your voice, and the subtle messages held in your chest, shoulders, face, and the often-overlooked transition zones that bridge upper and lower segments.
We explore the intermediate layer of fascia — especially where vigilance, tension, and inhibition quietly settle: the jaw, neck, mouth, throat, shoulders, arms, flanks and diaphragm. We also engage the ribs-to-pelvis bridge, opening fascial space between the first and twelfth ribs, and addressing intermediate restrictions in the buttocks and iliac crest —restoring the vertical continuity of the breath wave and the body’s natural buoyancy.
Through the Energetic Breath Cycle™, we engage the phases of Free Breath and Excited Breath, while honoring earlier stages as living resources within the breath field. We meet the energetic expressions of this phase — Streaming Silk, Springy Moss, Radiant Silk — as well as the protective textures that may veil them, such as Cold Wax or Mud.
As the breath reclaims its full arc, we encounter how expression, boundaries, and the social mask are shaped and stored in fascia. The upper body becomes a living map of learned adaptation — where smiles conceal anger, voices strain to please, and shoulders brace against overwhelm. In Flowing Core, we offer space to unmask: to rediscover the authentic voice, the true gesture, and the natural spontaneity of emotional expression.
You’ll learn to:
Open fascial space between ribs and pelvis, restoring fluid diaphragmatic transitions
• Release holding in the intermediate fascia of the shoulders, arms, flanks, and buttocks
• Soften the jaw, face, and throat — deconstructing patterns of vigilance and suppression
• Use breath and sound to access stored emotion and awaken energetic continuity
• Apply touch that supports polyvagal regulation, relational safety, and vocal integration
• Track real-time shifts in emotional tone, energetic wave, and expressive readiness
We also begin to recognize protective strategies around the heart and voice — postural masks, rehearsed behaviors, or withdrawal. These once helped us survive: over-compliance, control, or collapse. In Flowing Core, we meet them with compassion and offer the body new rhythms of voice, contact, and expressive freedom.
We cultivate microtracking — an inner witnessing that sharpens awareness of subtle shifts in breath, tone, and tension. This supports both personal transformation and professional clarity, especially in working with social holding, masked emotion, and developmental repair.
Whether you are a therapist, healer, or sincere explorer of embodiment, Flowing Core offers a profound gateway into voice, presence, and structural coherence — equipping you to soften armor, restore expressive capacity, and support others in reclaiming the upper body’s natural aliveness.
